The Palm Beach Synagogue Hebrew School is a dynamic after-school program for Jewish education.  It enjoys a well-earned reputation as a trend-setter in a creative and hands-on Jewish educational program and Hebrew language instruction for children in pre-K through Grade 7.  PBS is especially proud of its dynamic staff and the inclusiveness of our student body, with children from various private and public schools of varying backgrounds and affiliations.  Our innovative curriculum features the popular Aleph Champ Hebrew Reading Program. The students learn about Judaic studies and history, mitzvot, holidays, contemporary issues and gain a love for Israel – all through the prism of fine arts, games, music and creativity. PBS Kids Social Action Club

Through performing acts of service in our community, the Social Action Club instills in our children both an appreciation for the blessings in their own lives and the important values of Ahavat Yisrael (love of one's fellow) and Chesed (acts of loving kindness). We seek out volunteer opportunities that bring into the children’s sphere of influence people they may not ordinarily meet--people who are lonelier and less fortunate than themselves. By bringing a smile to these people’s faces and uplifting their spirits, the kids in turn will feel special and fulfilled, knowing the positive impact they are having on someone else.
