Program Description

Serious, sustained learning over time of both Judaic content and general teaching method has proved to equip the Jewish educator with the knowledge and skills necessary to be a successful role model in both the formal and non-formal Jewish learning experience.

The Jewish teacher is the "front line" of Jewish Education.  CJE’s department of Professional Development and School Services provides professional education services to Jewish schools and their teachers in the greater Palm Beaches.  The department provides training and resources about the most recent, innovative and effective teaching methods and helps teachers master appropriate teaching and learning practices. CJE’s PD & SS department provides expert consultation, assessment, evaluation, teacher training, and resources to encourage the growth of Jewish identity, literacy, commitment, and community.
