When our teachers learn our students learn, get excited and benefit! 

 

RECIPE FOR SUCCESS!
(A short narrative by the Professional Development Department at the CJE) 
 

 

Ingredients for an "award winning cuisine" of student achievement: 

1 Teacher Training in the Service IS Learning Seminar

    August 12-13, 2010   with internationally recognized,

    Best Practice Trainer Cathryn Berger Kaye, MS

    (see www.abcdbooks.org)

1 or more Groups of dedicated and enthusiastic teachers

     (We had 60 teachers!)

1 or more committed school administrations

     (Thanks Arthur I. Meyer Jewish Academy!)

1 Group of curious students  (We had 24 6-8th Graders!)

1 Group of School Prinicipals  (Thank you all!)

1 CJE Professional Development & School Services Training Team

1 or more Partnerships in Best Practice Education

      (Ours was with Meyer and the Harriet & Jack Rosenfeld

      Foundation Program in Jewish Education at the University of Miami!) 

Mix all together for training; Bake by implementing in the classroom.  Cool by following up.  Serves: One community of Jewish Educators.  Enjoy by doing over again!
