The J.N. Somers Yad Hebrew School for Children with Special Needs

At the J.N. Somers Yad Hebrew School for Children with Special Needs of the Commission for Jewish Education, your child will learn Hebrew, Jewish traditions, and holiday rituals in a loving, fun, barrier-free environment.  Enrollment is still open for the 2017-18 school year. Yad meets on Sunday mornings from 9:30 a.m.-12:00 noon at Temple Torat Emet on Jog Road in West Boynton Beach. Judith & Jack Rosenberg Mentoring 4 Kids is a free, non-sectarian program of Alpert Jewish Family & Children’s Service. We match thoroughly screened adult volunteer mentors with children ages 6-14 who are being raised in single parent homes. Together, the mentor and child share a wide range of fun, cultural activities while building a lasting friendship.
