PBS Kids Social Action Club

Through performing acts of service in our community, the Social Action Club instills in our children both an appreciation for the blessings in their own lives and the important values of Ahavat Yisrael (love of one's fellow) and Chesed (acts of loving kindness). We seek out volunteer opportunities that bring into the children’s sphere of influence people they may not ordinarily meet--people who are lonelier and less fortunate than themselves. By bringing a smile to these people’s faces and uplifting their spirits, the kids in turn will feel special and fulfilled, knowing the positive impact they are having on someone else.
