Everyone is Part of the PJ Library® Family

Amy Bergman, Director of Jewish Family Life

Judaism teaches us to appreciate the diversity of human beings and to honor every person’s individual uniqueness. This is true in Torah as well as in the PJ Library® program. In this session, using such values as b’tzelem Elohim (in the image of G-d), adam yachid (each person is unique), and lomed mikol adam (learn from every person), we will plan sensory friendly activities for the classroom or family program. Using PJ Library books and music, we will discover a variety of ways you can create lessons and family activities that they are accessible and meaningful to all kinds of learners.
